Behind the Design

This piece came from years of searching. I spent a lot of time going down different rabbit holes trying to understand God, myself, and the life I was living. Along the way, I encountered the ancient chakra framework. It was never my faith, but it handed me questions I couldn’t dodge. Those questions became a mirror.

They pushed me to examine where my life was rooted, what was driving my desires, the choices I was making unconsciously, how I loved, what I allowed to possess my heart, and whether my actions actually aligned with my words. Most importantly, they taught me that awareness alone wasn’t enough. I had to choose differently and live the change I said I wanted.

Over time, I began recognizing many of those same calls to self-examination within the biblical teachings I was learning to take seriously. Different language and different traditions, but another invitation to look inward, examine what was producing my life, and become intentional about who I was becoming.

The chakra framework was never my destination. It was simply something I encountered along the road that made me stop, look in the mirror, and ask questions worth asking. It became part of the road that brought me closer to myself—and ultimately, closer to God.
