This simple yet meaningful piece carries something much bigger than the logo printed across it. This logo represents the second chapter of BAMCO.
The original BAMCO logo was created in 2020—bold colors, a heart, a peace sign, and an idea that I knew meant something to me long before I fully understood what I was building. BAMCO meant Building A Mansion of Compassion, and it still does. But if I’m being truthful, when I started BAMCO, I thought I had it all figured out. I had big plans. I thought I knew where I was going and what God was leading me to do. I didn’t. At the time, I was still learning who I was.
BAMCO actually began as Bam & Company. The original idea was simple: create an aftershave, build a company, and hopefully sell it around the world. But as I continued trying to find my own way, understand myself, and understand what I believed I was being called toward, BAMCO slowly became something much bigger than the business I originally imagined.
A lot has happened since 2020. There have been battles within myself, questions about my purpose, things I had to unlearn, things I still had to confront, and parts of my life I was finally beginning to understand. Some of the difficulties I walked through came from my own decisions, but even many of those decisions were symptoms of something deeper—wounds, childhood experiences, conditioning, circumstances, subconscious patterns, and years of moving through life without fully understanding why I thought, reacted, chose, and lived the way I did.
Somewhere through all of that, BAMCO continued to evolve because I continued to evolve. This new logo did not come simply from wanting a cleaner design. It came from arriving at different understandings at different points throughout my journey. As more has been revealed to me about myself, my purpose, my faith, and what I believe I am supposed to be building, BAMCO has continued to change with it.
The cross that now sits in the center of BAMCO is there because my faith and my belief have become a huge part of the foundation of what I am building. The heart and peace symbol remain because compassion, connection, reconciliation, and peace are where this all started. The world within the BAMCO name represents something I have come to understand more clearly over time: whatever God is doing through BAMCO cannot be limited to just me, one background, one neighborhood, one religion, one organization, one system, or any one person. It should include people from every walk of life.
I believe in one Creator. One God. The God of all people, not the God of one religion. I do not pretend to have every answer, nor do I have any interest in arguing over which person’s understanding of God is correct. If the journey since 2020 has taught me anything, it is that whatever God is doing through BAMCO is bigger than my own understanding. My responsibility is not to control it. My responsibility is to continue becoming willing enough to follow it.
That is what this logo represents to me now. It is not simply a redesign. It is the evolution of BAMCO—what it has been, what it is, and everything it is still becoming.
Years of questioning, failing, rebuilding, learning, surrendering, and slowly realizing that maybe the vision was never supposed to fit completely inside my own understanding in the first place.
So while the piece itself is intentionally simple, its symbolism carries the history and the making of BAMCO.
This is the new face of BAMCO.
